1, 2023: DPM launched its own motion capture lab that is 600 sqft line-of-sight space. It is equipped with the state-of-the-art 8 VICON optical cameras (VUE) synchronized with 4 FLIR cameras and multiple force plates/transducers. It also has an IMU-based motion capture system. 12, 2022: Our earlier paper entitled “Digital Twin for Supply Chain Coordination in Modular Construction.” by Dongmin and Prof. Lee has been acknowledged as a highly cited paper in Applied Science, MDPI.

Revay Award that is presented for the best paper in a two-year period in the areas of construction engineering, construction management or project management among the papers published in the Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering. Prof. Lee’s Stephen G. Revay Award for 2010-2011 is for the paper entitled “Understanding construction workforce absenteeism in industrial construction” (Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering, Volume 38, No. 8, pp. 849-858). The co-authors are Mahdi Salehi Sichani (his former MS student at the U of Alberta) and Prof. Aminah Robinson Fayek (U of Alberta).
